David Cox is a manager within our Supervision, Regulation and Credit department where he focuses on operational risk quantification and stress testing. Prior to joining the Richmond Fed, Cox worked as a research analyst for a political consulting firm in Washington, D.C., and as a staff member in the U.S. Senate.

Cox received his bachelor’s degree from Macalester College and his master’s degree from the University of Texas, Austin.
