In celebration of Economic Education Month, educators explored these questions and others related to student engagement and understanding of the news. Adam Scavette, Regional Economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond, discussed how to identify and understand economic topics and data in the news. Educators also received teaching materials and resources to teach students how to interpret economic principles and data seen in the news.
