College Fed Challenge FAQs
My team does not have access to high quality video equipment and or editing software, what should we do to improve our submission?
Team video submissions are only judged on the content of the presentation, not video production quality.
How are alternates allowed to participate in the competition?
Each team can have alternates who should be prepared to compete in the all aspects of the competition in the event that one of the regular team members is unable.
Who is allowed to be seen on camera during either the video or Q&A rounds of the competition?
Each team member that is participating in the competition should be visible at all times during the either the recording of the presentation or the live Q&A. Alternates should not be shown or participate in the presentation unless they are filling in for a team member.
Will my team be allowed to watch other teams video submissions during the competition?
No, teams should refrain from sharing their submission or viewing another team's submission until after the national winner is announced on November 20th, 2020.
How do we submit our video presentation for judging?
Registered teams should upload their video presentation to YouTube and title their submission with the following convention: “College Fed Challenge 2020 Team ID #”. Teams must then send the link to their video entry on YouTube, along with the required information shown below, to economic-education@frb.gov by October 9, 2020, at 5:00 p.m. EST. Include in your email subject line "College Fed Challenge 2020 Video Entry [Team ID Number]."

Are any expenses related to participating in the divisional, regional, and national competitions covered?
All expenses related to participating in any round of the competition are the responsibility of the participating team and are not covered by the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond.
