Sierra Latham

Sierra Latham is a senior research analyst on the Regional and Community Analysis team at the Richmond Fed. She contributes to the Bank's Regional Matters and Econ Focus publications, and her research interests include housing, community and economic development, equitable access to economic opportunities, public finance and mission-driven lending.

Prior to joining the Bank in 2021, Latham served as director of the Moving Forward affordable housing pilot program in Indiana, demographer for the City of Alexandria (Virginia), and research associate with the Urban Institute.  She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Mary Washington, a master’s in applied economics from Georgetown University, and a master’s in public policy from the Harris School of Public Policy at the University of Chicago.
