David Ramachandran

David Ramachandran is a research associate at the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond. Ramachandran earned a bachelor's degree in economics and political science as well as a master's degree in policy economics, both from Tulane University. His research interests include the economics of discrimination, macroeconomics, and monetary theory.

As a second-year associate, Ramachandran collaborates with economists at the Richmond Fed. He has assisted Alexander Wolman with his work on relative price shocks and inflation, Andreas Hornstein with his research, and John O’Trakoun with policy work.
