Our Team

Will Schmidt

Will Schmidt is a research associate at the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond. Schmidt graduated from Emory University with a bachelor's degree in economics, specializing in econometrics. His research interests include network economics, firm dynamics, IO, and labor economics.

As a second-year associate, Schmidt collaborates with economists at the Richmond Fed. He is currently working with Chen Yeh and Claudia Macaluso on various projects related to heterogenous firm dynamics and search and match projects, and with Zhu Wang on issues related to mobile payments and network economics.
